The InterContinental Mauritius Resort Balaclava Fort is located on one of the most pristine stretches of beach overlooking the Bay of Balaclava. Offering 210 well-appointed rooms, the resort is just a few metres from Baie aux Tortues, which 17th-century sailors named after the many tortoises in the area.

The restaurants have distinct environments and specialize in different cuisines, but all use the freshest local ingredients to make dishes that reflect the multitude of cultural influences that reside in Mauritius.

Senso is the main buffet restaurant. For a light lunch or snack, Palms at the swimming pool or Segala on the beach are ideal restaurants to go to.

If you would like to enjoy a Contemporary Indian meal, Veda would be the choice for you.

For Oriental Fusion, try out Noble House, which is located on the beach.

Taliport Lounge is in the lobby and offers beverages and snacks all day long.

At the Barracuda Bar you can not only enjoy a drink, but some entertainment as well.

At the pool, Sugar Cane Bar is right there if you need to get a quick drink.
