Diving Center
Our local divemasters have thousands of dives in the area, and will guide certified divers to the absolute best spots. We are blessed with loads of both green and hawksbill turtles, octopus hiding in every crack and crevice, morays hunting along the reef, marble rays and lots more. if you are really lucky you might even come face to face with a pod of dolphins.
If you have never tried diving before or you are interested in some of our more advanced courses, our professional instructors will make sure to give you the best possible introduction to scuba diving or advance your current dive skills to new levels. We are a recognized PADI dive center and offer most courses from introductory courses through divemaster and specialties.
All of our equipment is being thoroughly serviced and maintained, and we offer the cleanest air to make sure your dive is safe and comfortable. Should you decide to bring your own equipment, you will receive a 10 percent discount of the prices listed for diving. (Reg and BCD minimum) We also accommodate DIN fittings for your convenience.
For non-divers we arrange fantastic snorkel boat trips to the local coral reef. This is an awesome opportunity to enjoy an impressive range of colorful fish and corals. A must do when visiting Karafuu.
Excursions
Prison Island
Depart from the hotel at 8:30 am and arrival in Forodhani Gardens at 10 am, where you board a boat to go to Prison Island, where you can see the tortoises who are over 200 years old, and visit the Prison, where prisoners used to be kept, but it is now invalid, though there is a beautiful beach where you can relax, get a suntan, snorkel and after a relaxing tour, with a professional guide, get back into your boat and drive back to the hotel to arrive at 2 pm.

Jozani forest
The trip is taking you to see the Red Columbus Monkey. You will see them very close to playing together. There are really funny. You will also enjoy the mangrove and the medicinal forest.

City Tour
Zanzibar, the island which is full of mystery, and charm not mentioning the generosity and warmth of the Zanzibarian people.
Visit the city and experience for yourself the true culture of the Zanzibarian. Depart the hotel at 8:30 am in the morning, arriving in the city at 10 am, where you can visit the famous House of Wonder, the Sultan Palace, the Old Museum, the Old Market, whereby you can haggle with the local people in buying the various fruits available at the market, the Cathedral Church and the Old Dispensary. Then walk through the famous alleys of Zanzibar, intermingling with the local people, with the aroma of coffee and spices behind you and you can also do shopping in the numerous shops that are available in the Stone Town. Drive through the countryside of Zanzibar, and return to the hotel at 2:00 pm.
Spice / City Tour
Depart from the hotel and drive through the countryside of Zanzibar, arriving at the ancient Sultan Baths at Kidichi. Here the sultans concubines used to bathe and relax. From there drive to the plantations, where you can sample the various spices that are grown and which are the # 1 export of Zanzibar. And of course the reason Zanzibar is originally famous as The Spice Island. You also sample the fruits that are in abundance at the farms, some very exotic and very tasty.

Safari Blue
You will leave from the beach of Karafuu hotel, boarding a local zanzibari boat (Ngalawa) to sail towards Kae. You will be welcomed on the beach with a local cocktail (Madafu) and a tempting seafood barbecue including lobsters and prawns. Furthermore, depending on the tide, you can enjoy a leisurely ride by boat to the mangrove swamp where you can take pictures of the different kinds of birds and then ride back to the shore. You will lie on the beach, get a suntan or read a book. Relax, enjoy the sound of the waves and watch the sunset.
You will admire and enjoy the sunset while boarding a local boat (Ngalawa), which will carry you on the Floating restaurant. At your arrival, taste your local drink "Madafu" and enjoy your seafood and lobsters dinner!
Dolphins Tour
