Although the Seychelles does not have the biggest waves in the world, it is drawing surfers as the islands are less crowded than other destinations. The best time of year to surf in Seychelles is from May to September. The most popular islands for surfing are Mahé and Praslin; here you can rent a car and go in search of the best break. The east side of Mahé has the most consistent waves, while the west is inconsistent but can give a better payoff.
