Salt of Palmar
The SALT concept is a new and unique one – offering guests an easy, down to earth and refreshing experience. Local and home grown is at the centre of the SALT philosophy – so local producers, local farmers and local communities benefit.
At Salt of Palmar each of the rooms is kitted out with only the finest of things such as a handmade, king size Carpe Diem bed and 100% organic cotton bedding. Bathrooms offer a rain shower and all-natural, locally produced toiletries. Guests will also find a yoga mat, block and a Roberts radio in their rooms – ensuring they feel right at home.
Tempting bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and the local barista, serves freshly home-roasted coffee 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In the Salt restaurant, produce is fresh, local, and tasty. A herb wall and a vegetable cellar show off local bounty and in the kitchen simple, ancient cooking methods are used. Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Mauritian flavours all play a part.
