There are two restaurants, both with the same menu, where you enjoy all-you-can-eat buffet style meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are a variety of international and regional cuisines to please everyone's taste. The buffet lines include live action cooking stations where food is prepared to your order. Soups, breads and desserts are homemade and the fresh, tropical fruits are delicious. You are assigned to your own table throughout your stay so that you may enjoy your privacy, or you are welcome to invite friends to join you. Friday night dinner is Maldivian night with a themed menu and waiters in traditional dress. Sunday breakfast welcomes you with complimentary Sparkling Wine.

Dress can be very casual. Many guests are barefoot. Bathing suits may be worn for breakfast and lunch as long as women wear a cover-up or sarong and men wear a short sleeve polo shirt (not sleeveless). Shorts and a short sleeve polo shirt (not sleeveless) are customary for dinner or you can dress up as you wish.

Guests with special dietary needs should advise us beforehand.

The Farivalhu Restaurant is for guests staying in the Garden rooms, the Beach Villas, the Jacuzzi Beach Villas (100's), & the Jacuzzi Water Villas (300's) and is located in the center of the island. It provides spacious seating in the traditional open-air style with sand floor and thatched roof. There is also outdoor seating on a wooden deck.

The Maalan Restaurant is for guests staying in the adults only Jacuzzi Beach Villas (600’s), Water Villas, Jacuzzi Water Villas (700’s), Honeymoon Suites, Beach Villas (400’s adults only)  and is located on the northern end of the island. It is divided into 3 separate dining areas which provide spacious seating and all are in the traditional open-air style with sand floor and thatched roofs. Snorkeling
Meeru Snorkeling Trail at the northern tip of the island. See beautiful tropical fish just a few steps from the beach. Easily seen floating buoys mark the trail which you follow from the beach to the snorkeling site and back to the beach. An Island Map is conveniently located near the North Reception and at other places around the Island.

Scuba Diving
Allow yourself to glide through the deep blue waters of the Indian Ocean discovering the beauty of the aquatic world! We offer an interesting variety of courses from novice to expert. We are confident that at least one of these will fulfil your dreams! The Euro-Divers Dive Team welcomes all guests who not only want to enjoy the luxury of the beautiful dive sites around North Male' Atoll, but are also looking for something special.

Meeru is surrounded by a big, beautiful lagoon. There is no nearby house reef, so all dives are boat dives. The lagoon is home to a great variety of marine life with interesting coral formations and colourful fish life in shallow water. It is perfect for snorkelers and for diver training. The average water temperature is 28 degrees Celsius and the visibility from January to May is about 20m to 50m and from June to December is 15m to 25m.

Water Sports
In addition to Snorkeling and Diving, there are a variety of other water sports for Meeru guests to enjoy. Some include windsurfing, catamaran, kayaking and glass bottom boat. Equipment can be rented and lessons can be booked at the Water Sports Center.

Land Sports
Meeru provides a variety of sports facilities including lighted tennis courts, golf course (driving range, putting green and 9 hole pitch & putt), bicycle rental, badminton court, fitness center, beach volleyball, table tennis, billiards, darts, football field, petanque, 2 Fresh Water Swimming Pool on the beach and a children’s wading pool.
