This family-owned hotel in Praslin has over 40 sea-facing rooms and is located within a few steps of the hotel's private beach. The hotel is situated on 200 acre estate featuring a remarkable and beautiful landscape.

Each room is individually decorated using works by local artists to give it a distinct Creole feel. The hotel keeps an old-world feel while still providing guests with modern amenities, and features the largest swimming pool in the Seychelles.

Location:

Situated at the private Anse Petite Cour Bay on the north-west coast of Praslin, the hotel is located inside a marine national park. The secluded hotel offers guests great snorkelling opportunities with the area's wide variety of marine life. Guests can explore the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site called the Vallee de Mai, or go to Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette which was voted as one of the world's top 10 beaches.

La Reserve has 40 rooms, all of which are sea facing and are within a few steps from the hotel's private beach. The rooms are individually decorated with the works of local artists giving the hotel a unique Creole feel. Rooms feature king-size four poster beds, wooden furniture, and many modern amenities including air conditioning, lockable safes and satellite television.

The eight superior rooms, situated in one of two colonial buildings, are perfect for families. Each building has four rooms, with one building is directly on the beach and the other on the hillside. Thirty-two deluxe rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, featuring sunken baths and walk in showers.

Jetty Restaurant

The restaurant is situated with one of the most beautiful views as guests overlook the bay and watch the lights from the anchored yachts while they dine. Jetty restaurant serve a range of delectable meals from freshly caught fish to spicy Creole, as well as a mouth-watering international menu.

Pool Restaurant

As an ideal spot for lunch, the pool bar offers a great A La Carte Menu with a variety of local and international dishes including fresh fish, grilled meat or a fresh, summer salad.

Bars

The reserve has three bars: the Main Bar, Beach Bar and Pool Bar. The William's Pool bar is surrounded by coconut palms and by the largest pool in the Seychelles. Guests can swim up to the bar to order their drink, or order a cocktail as you relax in the sun around the pool.



Activities

Cultural Events

The culture of the Seychelles has been influenced by the peoples of Africa, Asia and Europe. This amalgamation of cultures has created a unique dance and music style. La Reserve features local musicians who perform three times a week with traditional moutya and sega dancers.

Vallée De Mai

Vallée de Mai is one of the smallest of the natural World Heritage Sites at only 48 acres. The site is home to the coco-de-mer palm. La Reserve organizes weekly trips to the Vallée De Mai for all guests.

Nature Walk

Other than the Vallée de Mai there are many other trails on Praslin. La Reserve offers a guided tour of Curieuse Island for guests on Wednesdays. The Giant Land Tortoise can be spotted here, both young and very old. A guide will point out exotic plants, palms and rare birds along the way.

Snorkelling and Kayaks

With the hotel being situated in a National Marine Park, it is a perfect place to enjoy snorkelling with equipment provided by the hotel. Kayaks are also provided for those looking to explore the waters around the island.



Gym

The private gym is well equipped and available to all resident guests of the hotel. The fitness centre is air-conditioned, and helps guests stay in shape while on holiday.



Isabelle Boutique

Open on a daily basis , the Isabelle Boutique is located at reception and sells souvenirs, jewellery, beachwear and toiletries.



Swimming Pool

La Reserve features the largest swimming pool in Seychelles. The pool is divided into different sections with a children's pool, an area for the elderly, an area for experienced swimmers, and a bar and lounge in the middle of the pool.



Island Hopping

Visit neighbouring islands by boat, plane or helicopter. La Reserve has a new speedboat available for hotel guests for excursions and tailor made trips.
